Here’s my latest sunflower painting. This is a small painting that I had a lot of fun with.

I poured bright yellows, golds and greens and then brushed in the darks.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I did painting it!

This was painted on 300 lb. Arches watercolor paper. I love the rough texture of this heavy paper.

The image size is 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″.

    I love the sunflower as usual. Still have my beautiful print of your award winning ones. Someday I will be able to afford another workshop, but not soon.

  2. Stephen, the richness in your work still leaves me in awe. Wanted to thank you again for the workshop experience. The giving of artistic theory and concept as well as techniques used was unselfish. Now approach the work with a better understanding of the use of color. Am off on yet another path that you exposed! Should you be in the area again soon will definitely be taking another of your workshops.
